David O’Neil
Real Estate and Construction Professional

David O’Neil is a real estate and construction professional in multiple states and in France, and currently serving Carmel and the greater Monterey Peninsula. With over 25 years of experience in residential and commercial development, land planning, design, and more than $80 million in luxury and commercial real estate sales, he has successfully overseen multi-million-dollar transactions and guided bespoke new construction and restoration projects that blend artistry with technical precision. Among his most notable endeavors is the restoration of the 19th-century Château de Falloux in France, a landmark project that reflects his dedication to preserving architectural heritage through meticulous craftsmanship, design integrity, and community engagement.

David’s commitment to people and cultural preservation is equally evident in his local volunteer work. He has served on the Board of the Carmel Residents Association, and currently serves on the Boards of the Carmel Woman’s Club and the Pacific Repertory Theatre. He also volunteers with Meals on Wheels, the SPCA, the Carmel Volunteer in Police Service, and the Carmel Chamber of Commerce.

His combined expertise in non-profits, construction, real estate, and historic preservation enables him to serve his clients with exceptional insight, and to bridge the gap between design excellence and conscientious stewardship of the region’s architectural legacy, while actively supporting the local business and residential community. David oversaw the restoration of a major historic chateau northwest of Angers, France in the Loire Valley, Haute Anjou Region.
