Venue Located In Carmel, CA

Noted U.S. economist Francois Melese will discuss California’s latest proposals to regulate vehicle and emission standards. He will explore anticipated climate and health benefits as well as the real world costs, including energy poverty. Dr. Melese will also offer practical tips for student writers participating in CASI’s 2025 Writing Contest, sharing insights into contemporary challenges. from energy and health care policy to pension issues and the national debt.

Speaker: Dermatologist Dr. Julie Kenner

Regenerative Medicine and Dermatology

February 27th: 4:00 pm – 5:30 pm
Casa de la Torre Adobe in Monterey, California

Dermatologist Dr. Julie Kenner will speak at an event of the California Arts and Sciences Institute: addressing both cosmetology and oncology issues. She will show how our health system tends to segregate medicine into separate organs, such as heart, brain, and skin; however, these are connected, such that an inflammation can impact another organ system. Comprehensive healing involves recognizing this interdependence.
