A MEMBERS ONLY WINTER GALA is presented by the California Arts and Sciences Institute on January 19, at the glamorous historic Joan Fontaine Estate in the Carmel Highlands. We are privileged to welcome Dr. David R. Henderson PhD, Hoover Institution Fellow, as our featured speaker on the topic of ‘’Economic Inequality’’. He will cover the difference between income inequality due to government-created privilege and income inequality due to productivity. He will also address the degree of income inequality in the United States and the difference between income inequality and poverty. Further he will address the roles of age and work in economic inequality.

Dr. Henderson is widely published in the field of economics, including frequent entries in the Wall Street Journal; he has also served as a U.S. Presidential Advisor. Doors will open at 4:30 pm to give us a breathtaking ocean view, and we shall be treated to a splendid wine and appetizer festive affair.
