CASI will host a live event awards ceremony where thirty of the top student art submittals will be hung in exhibition, and awards will be given to top students. The ceremony will be held at the Monterey studio of internationally esteemed artist Rene Romero Schuler. Complimentary wine, non-alcoholic beverages and light refreshments will be served. Theme of the CASI 2025 contest is the coast and ocean of our Central Coast.
Deep student creativity and excellence is alive on our California Coast, as evidenced by these beautiful and creative artworks spanning painting, acrylic, watercolor, photography, sculpture and scratchboard. All submitting students, their families and friends are invited to attend the June 22nd ceremony, which commences at 4:30 pm.
Works will be judged by an expert panel of five professional artists and scientists. There will be three top prizes and five honorable mention awards. The top three winners will receive monetary scholarships from the CASI Youth Scholarship Fund. Contestants shall be high school, middle school or elementary school students.
The awards presentation will feature CASI’s Manager of our student art contest, artist and designer Katie Bruzzone. Last year’s CASI First Prize Winner was Stella Thelen:
