This premier event is on July 28, 2023 and marks the first of the series covering multiple facets of AI’s impact spanning across industries. Music and complimentary wine will accent this event at the elegant Sandbox venue at 440 Ortiz Ave, #B, in Sand City, California.
Join us for an enlightened discussion with a distinguished panel to delve into the advancements and pressing concerns surrounding Artificial Intelligence. Discover the innovations that may revolutionize our lives, and explore the emerging risks that demand our immediate attention.
The esteemed panel will be led by nationally syndicated radio host, Edward King. Renowned Artist Jennifer Perlmutter will represent the creative community of the Central Coast to address the pressing issues of intellectual property and the livelihood of artists. Dr. Francois Melese, Emeritus Professor of Economics, will shed light on the benefits and costs of AI, including productivity gains and the disruptive impact on employment. Tom Atchison, an early pioneer in AI development, will provide insights into the various forms of AI technology. Dr. C. Michael Hogan, a leading authority on U.S. energy policy, will discuss the critical aspects of AI accuracy and the potential downside of the massive energy consumption required to power AI.
